These are the words of Bob Mayes, the builder of the 1-holer shown above: "Built in the spring of 2003 from barn wood I was able to get from a carpenter friend, it sits in the back yard of Bob and Bev Mayes in Pueblo, Colorado as a conversation piece. It is fully functional as far as the city codes will allow. A one holer, complete with a guard rabbit and an electric corn cob. It even has a roll of John Wayne toilet paper, rough and tuff and takes on crap off anybody. The hinges were dipped in muriatic acid for a few minutes to remove their finish and once the finish was removed, they rusted right before your eyes. Had I placed the horse shoe in the upright position nobody would have noticed it so I purposely put it this way for comments." As Curator of the Outhouses of America Tour, I am impressed!

What else can you see in the images shown? Many times a photo is worth a thousand words and I've only elaborated with a few so why don't you add some "color commentary" to my collection. If your addition is worthy, you will find the quote added on the Comments to the Curator page.
