This 3-Seater Outhouse is attached to the Tobin's garage and is a brick-lined, 10 foot deep Outhouse. It still gets used occasionally and as they say, "10 feet too close to the house in the summer, and 10 feet too far in the winter....haha!! They were having a big family reunion at the time she sent me the pictures and she said "it will serve it's purpose well that day."
Here is the latest update from the owner of this Outhouse:
Just wanted to share a little humor with you regarding our '3-Seater' Outhouse. We just finished up with the big family reunion here on the farm in Kohlsville, (West Bend area). As I had mentioned before, the outhouse came in quite handy. However, two adult family members took to heart the 'family nature' of our 3-seater and actually used it together, at the same time!! Needless to say, it was a hilarious moment, and took us all back in time to 'pre-plumbing' days. The homesteaders of this farm and their descendents have come back to visit over the years and tell us of visiting the outhouse hand-in-hand with their parents, as children. Needless to say, it continues to provide use, fun, and great stories for current and and future generations.
By the way, the garage and attached outhouse is not quite as old as the farmhouse. The farmhouse was built in 1904 and we've been told the garage/outhouse was probably built in the 1920's or 30's so it must be the second outhouse for the farm.

What else can you see in the images shown? Many times a photo is worth a thousand words and I've only elaborated with a few so why don't you add some "color commentary" to my collection. If your addition is worthy, you will find the quote added on the Comments to the Curator page.
